- What about Confidentiality?
- Manufactures of China and it's principals have worked confidential for many
customers in the development and manufacturing of their products or
components.
- What about outsourcing vs. in-house development? Top
- In many cases Manufactures of China can provide the same in-house
capabilities of our customers at a substantial cost reduction while
maintaining equal or greater quality. For example, we currently produce
injected molded dies for injection molding companies for much less than
they can produce the dies in their own facility.
- What about on-going project communication?

- Manufacturers of China assigns a project coordinator to each project who is
your full time communication resource. The coordinator is in constant
communication with our manufacturing facilities during the project,
coordinating manufacturing scheduling, parts delivery and final product
shipments.
- What about the quality?

- The principals of Manufactures of China have been doing business with
Pacific Rim companies for 23 years. The manufacturing companies we work
with are the cream of the crop. They range in size from small artisan
tooling companies to very large production/assembly companies with hundreds
of employees, multistory modern facilities and equipment.
- What about ISO certification?
Top
- Most of our factories are ISO certified and many are ASA and UL as well.
- What about all the problems?

- Yes, there are a lot of problems, especially if you don't have the years of
experience working in international business. We have been doing this for
23 years, know the problems and in most cases anticipate them well before
they happen.
- You have a product design, now what?

- We are happy to take on any project at any stage. We can do total turnkey
product production or any of the individual steps along the way.
- What about shipping costs?
Top
- Yes shipping is more expensive from the Pacific Rim vs. within the
US. However, when shipping is managed properly savings can be
realized. We know how to get products shipped the fastest and the least
expensive with the most reliable carriers.
- What about customs and duty?
Top
- We will be happy to coordinate and expedite both customs and duty with
delivery direct to your facility or customer(s). Or, at your option, you
may chose to handle this.
- What is the typical time frame from drawings to delivery?
Top
- Time depends on the complexity of the product or part. PCB boards are three
to four weeks after approval of first article. Injected molded dies are
four to six weeks after design approval. Injected molded parts are three
to four weeks after approval of first article.
